Price Book Generating Multiple Line For Same Item Per UOM Conversion (Doc ID 2638053.1)

Goal

On the Create Price Book request we are seeing multiple price lines generated for the same item.
This is occurring only for items where we have defined a Unit of Measure(UOM) Conversion in the Inventory module.

As part of the criteria during the Price Book execution we are specifying the Price List and we have defined the item with a Primary UOM of "EA" -
is the Price Book not supposed to use this as the driver and therefore only display a single line for UOM "EA"?

Or is the standard functionality to completely ignore the Primary UOM specified on the price list and display multiple lines for each UOM conversion defined in Inventory?
