Symptoms

When attempting to enter a retirement for an active asset, the following error occurs.

APP-OFA-48395: Program exited with errors:

You cannot perform this transaction because the asset is fully retired.

User-Defined Exception

Error: function FA_RETIREMENT_PUB.do_all_books_retirement returned failure

Error: function FA_RETIREMENT_PUB.do_retirement returned failure


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Query asset in the Asset Workbench.
2. Click Retirements button.
3. Error received when attempting to enter a retirement.
