CORS Policy Error While Invoking Oracle EBS ISG REST Service (Doc ID 2643922.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 07, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle E-Business Suite Integrated SOA Gateway - Version 12.2.9 to 12.2.9 [Release 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

While invoking the Oracle EBS ISG Rest Service from Oracle JET, getting the
below error.

localhost/:1 Access to fetch at
'http:/hostname.xxx.com:port#/webservices/rest/xx_pkg/get_disp_xx/' from origin 'http://localhost:8000' has been blocked by
CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check:
No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
If an opaque response serves your needs, set the request's mode to 'no-cors'
to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.

Able to test the rest service successfully using POSTMAN.

But once the cross domains (two different domains) comes in i.e invoking from
another domain Oracle JET , ct faces this issue
To resolve that they have to enable the CORS policy in the rest service
created using EBS instance (SOA Integrated Gateway).
