R12: Getting Error 'Enter the mandatory value for contract segment in the Flexfield in the header' While trying to Modify Purchase Order (Doc ID 2646479.1)

On : 12.1.3 version, Purchase Order

When attempting to modify a purchase order with incomplete status,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Enter the mandatory value for contract segment in the flexible key in the header.


Steps to reproduce:

1. Responsibility: Purchasing

2. In Descriptive Flexfield Segments Screen:

Application = Purchasing
Title = PO Headers

Prompt = Context
Default Value = CONTRACT

Context Field Values:
Code = CONTRACT
Name = CONTRACT
Description = Contract
Enabled is Checked to Yes.

3. Navigate to: Purchase Orders > Purchase Orders

4. Standard PO # XXXXX

   Status = Incomplete

   Trying to update, Getting the above mentioned Error message:
