Why does one receive the following warning message?

Created custom qualifier attribute.
  Created Qualifier Context based on Customer
  Code: XX_CUSTOMXX_GROUP
After that ran “Build Attribute Mapping Rule” from the Tools menu
When I used the Qualifier, it returns a warning message. Why?

Warning: This Attribute (with Context: CUSTOMER and
  Attribute: QUALIFIER_ATTRIBUTE31) has not been mapped yet.
  Please run the concurrent program Build Attribute Mapping Rules,
  for better pricing engine performance.
