HXC_TIMESTORE_DEPOSIT.EXECUTE_DEPOSIT_PROCESS Returns Empty Message (Doc ID 2670134.1)

Symptoms


The HXC_TIMESTORE_DEPOSIT.EXECUTE_DEPOSIT_PROCESS is being used to load time cards into OTL. For some transactions the API returns the message

EXECUTE_DEPOSIT_PROCESS Result: ORA-0000: normal, successful completion

"The application has registered an empty message as part of this transaction. Contact your system administrator."

 

The log shows the following error:

per.plsql.hr_entry.maintain_cost_keyflex.30 "Excep: ORA-06512: at ""APPS.HR_ENTRY"", line 5915
ORA-06512: at ""APPS.PAY_HXC_DEPOSIT_INTERFACE"", line 2078

 

 

 

Steps to Reproduce

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run custom program to create timecards using API
