A Date Created Through Personalization When Entering With Format DD-MON-YYYY Upon Saving The Shopping Cart It Displays as YYYY-MM-DD (Doc ID 2688032.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.4 version,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Changing the date created from personalization,  the calendar is opening fine. Clicking save, the date format is getting changed from DD-MON-YYYY to YYYY-MM-DD for which validation error is appearing: YYYY-MM-DD is not a valid date.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the date format to not change.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Enable Personalize in OA Framework to the user doing Personalization:

1.1. Login to System Administrator responsibility
1.2. Go to Profiles/System
1.3. Set profile Personalize Self-Service Defn to Yes to the user doing Personalization
1.4. Set profile FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled to Yes at the user level as well.

2. Log as the user above and execute the personalization to show the date:

2.1. Go to the Shopping Cart
2.2. Click Personalize "Table containing items in the shop..."
2.3. Create the entry with:
    Item Style: Message Text Input
    Data Type: date
    View Attribute: Attribute1
    View Instance: PORequisitionLinesVO
2.4 Click Apply

3. Reproduce the issue:

3.1. Add the item to the cart
3.2. Choose the date from the calendar
     It shows 18-Jun-2020
3.3. Click Save
     Date changes to 2020-06-18
