javax.mail.MessagingException Error When Replying To Emails After Application Of Patches 26640631 & 29490201 (Doc ID 2690842.1)

Symptoms

Users receive the error below after replying to email messages in Email Center. This started to occur after the application of <patch 26640631> & <patch 29490201>. 
 

Errors
javax.mail.MessagingException: ; nested exception is: java.io.IOException: Error in encoded stream: needed 4 valid base64 characters but only got 3 before EOF, the valid characters were: "t=1"
