Symptoms

In Oracle Sourcing, Release 12.2.5 through 12.2.10:

When trying to extend the standard VOs:

/oracle/apps/pon/homepages/buying/server/BUYERHOMENEGOTIATIONSGLANCEVO.XML

The following error occurs:

ERROR

Each row in the Query Result Columns must be mapped to a unique Query Attribute in the
Mapped Entity Columns


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open Jdeveloper
2. Run the create View Object wizard, Extend the VO:
  /oracle/apps/pon/homepages/buying/server/BuyerHomeNegotiationsGlanceVO
3. Accept all of the default values for steps 1 to 3 in the create View Object wizard
4. At step 4 the failure occurs
