Unable To Add Group Asset - No Value In Book LOV (Doc ID 269937.1)

Symptoms

A new asset book was created and Group Depreciation was enabled.  When adding a new group asset to this book, the book LOV does not contain any values:

1.  Created a new book.  The book is corporate and has Group Depreciation checked.
2.  Created a new asset in Asset Workbench.  The asset type is "Group".
3.  Click Continue.  Click in "Book" and there is no List of Values.
