Updating Assignment Information Fails with ORA-20001: System Error: Procedure hr_assignment_api.validate_scl at Step 6 (Doc ID 2700757.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to execute API (HR_ASSIGNMENT_API.UPDATE_EMP_ASG_CRITERIA) to change the assignment information, the following error occurs.

ORA-20001: System Error: Procedure hr_assignment_api.validate_scl at Step 6
Cause: The procedure hr_assignment_api.validate_scl has created an error at Step 6.
Action: Contact your system administrator quoting the procedure hr_assignment_api.validate_scl and Step 6.

        * The error does not occur when updating assignment information in PUI.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Run API (HR_ASSIGNMENT_API.UPDATE_EMP_ASG_CRITERIA)
  2.  Error occurs
