Goal
Prior to Release 12.2.10 in CLM, to move funds across 2 lines in same Award with backing Requisition reference, 2 Modifications are required: One Modification to release funds to backing Requisition and another Modification to allocate the funds to another line on same Award.
The new functionality in 12.2.10 allows the users to move funds across lines with Backing PR reference in one Modification. The funds released(not yet committed to backing Requisition) will be available for only the current Draft Modification.
Other Concurrent Modifications or the Awards that refer to the same backing Requisition won't see the funds released in the subject Modification.
The illustrations below show how to perform the necessary steps to reallocate requisition funding with only one Modification.
