Symptoms
When selecting a shipment and act on it with Allocate Cost action the system shows it has allocated the cost fine but in reality, it is failing in the background with the following error showing in the log:
Investigation found that The ALLOC_SEQ_NO in ALLOCATION_BASE table has reached its max up to 8 digits in length and cannot hold any new values. The action Allocate Cost is failing on all the shipments. Due to Business needs re-setting not acceptable
