Is There A Way To Extract The App-tier Cache Xml Statistics (Doc ID 2707714.1)

Goal

Going into the app-tier cache screen very regularly to monitor cache levels and usage. It appears there is no physical db behind the cache statistics. If there is, what are the tables involved that can be queried? It would be much simpler to parse XML than trying to pull the represented XML from the html page. Is there means of systematically pulling the cache statistics from a query or xml file?
