Adcfgclone.pl tier apps Errors with RC-40201: Unable to connect to Database (Doc ID 271250.1)

Symptoms

 Adcfgclone.pl failed for apps tier in a RAC enabled environment. The below error is seen in the <$INST_TOP>/admin/log/RCloneApplyAppsTier_<timestamp>.log

Started testing the availabilty of ports in port pool 3

 

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. $ cd <COMMON_TOP>/clone/bin
  2. $ perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier dualfs
