Sudden Increase In Icx-iproc.out File Size (Doc ID 2714626.1)

Symptoms

On Release 12.2.6 version, Information Discovery (v6 and higher)

When attempting to create and/or process Requisitions after applying <Patch:25543093> :R12.ICX.D to Production
the following error occurs.

ERROR
There is a sudden increase in size with icx-iproc.out file in system due to Endeca logs.
The size is increasing by 1GB every 2 mins. nd later jumped to 5 -10 GB in size twice in a week.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

This issue tarted shortly after applying <Patch:25543093> :R12.ICX.D to Production .


There is a sudden increase in size with icx-iproc.out file in system due to Endeca logs.
The size is increasing by 1GB every 2 mins. And later jumped to 5 -10 GB in size twice in a week.

We have observed that this issue occurs whenever, we try to replace the LAR file in the system,
from a Backup to see if that would help but it did not help.

The Client cannot create and/or process any Requisitions due to this Production problem.

BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are Not sure what to do about this problem with icx-iproc.out file that keeps growing.
