BEE Fails with "The number of hours that you have entered for the period is incorrect" (Doc ID 2721410.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When validating BEE to transfer the absence element, following error occurs.

The number of hours that you have entered for the period from &START and &END is incorrect. The absence duration in hours must match the specified absence period.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager responsibility
  2.  Go to Batch Element Entries form
     (N) Mass Information eXchange: MIX > Batch Element Entry
  3.  Validate the batch that contains PTO entries
  4.  Validation fails with the error
