When Trying To Request/Allocate Material On A Work Order, Getting Error "Row 1 Error - Picking rule fails to find a source locator that meets the rules restrictions" (Doc ID 2730266.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to request materials for work orders, the following error occurs.

Error
Row 1 Error - Picking rule fails to find a source locator that meets the rules restrictions.

Steps

  1. Responsibility: Maintenance Super User.
  2. Click on Work Orders tab.
  3. Select the row checkbox
  4. Click REQUEST ALL Button
  5. Enter in Subinventory that has available Quantity
  6. Enter Locator where Quantity stored
  7. Click the request button
  8. The Row for the Item not allocating.
