Accounting Setup Manager Intracompany Balancing Rules: Update/Add Rules or Scroll Down to Bring in More Records Shows Bad Performance and the Page Blanks Out (Doc ID 2730322.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Accounting Setup Manager, attempt to update or add records on Intracompany Balancing Rules - the page shows a bad performance. When the number of records is higher (more than 5-15 records defaulting on the page), attempting to scroll down in order to bring in more records blanks the page out, then after a while it loads more records. Should the data retrieval take too long, the page may timeout or hand indefinitely.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Log in to General Ledger Super User
2. Accounting Setup Manager  > Accounting Options: Ledger > Intracompany Balancing Rules > Update > Legal Entity Name
3. Pick an entity > Define Rules > Other/Other (or any other rule) > Update
4. Scroll down the page to get more records
5. Observe the issue

Note: the same issue may be observed when attempting to add or scroll for more records related to Intercompany Accounts.
