12.2 When Editing an Approved Award, Users are Unable to Change FPDS-NG Report Method If "Exempt" is the Current Value (Doc ID 2735167.1)

Last updated on MARCH 15, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management for Public Sector - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Users are unable to change FPDS-NG Report Method if "Exempt" is chosen.

Using the Update FPDS-NG Reporting Information, if the Reporting method is changed to Exempt, the field becomes locked and it cannot ever be updated if it was done in error.

CLM allows for the Reporting Method to be changed from Exempt if the document is still in draft, but after it is approved it is un-editable.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

  1. Create or find an Approved Award with the FPDS-NG reporting method of "Exempt"
  2. Click on radio button to select Award in the Award form - do not update or click on award number
  3. in the pulldown menu - select "update fpds ng info"
  4. Exempt is shown here - but cannot be edited

This only occurs if Exempt is the value - other values can be modified/changed when performing these steps
