Date Placed In Service Is Not Validated For Future Add (Doc ID 274419.1)

Symptoms

You are adding assets with transaction type FUTURE ADD in Prepare Mass Additions.
The Date Placed in Service (DPIS) of the asset should not be in the current open period. There is no validation when the DPIS is saved, but the validation takes place only when the record is Posted.
Validation is required when the DPIS is saved.
