WebAdi: Journal Creation or Upload - Excel Crashes in the Process or Throws: Your document could not be created (Doc ID 2744437.1)

Symptoms

Excel is crashing or errors at the time of Creation or Upload of Journals. The issue exists even if the upload is just for a few rows(2-3). It first shows:

Processing: Upload
Uploading the document. Your document is being uploaded to the server. Press Cancel to stop the process

OR

Processing. Create document
Your document could not be created.
Please contact your support representative

then it crashes. 

 

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. WebAdi responsibility > Create spreadshseet (Budget or Actuals fail the same)

2. Get the error Your document could not be created

OR

2. Have the spreadsheet created, then attempt to upload

3. Excel crashes

Changes

Changes in setup related to changing profile option BNE: OOXML Enabled.
This is dedicated to create the Integrator on the Server side on on the local machine, depending on if it was set to Yes or No values.
