On: 12.1.3 Receivables and later
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Attempting to run create accounting on a transaction an error occurs suggesting to run revenue recognition.
However after running revenue recognition, the distributions for the transaction are still not created.
ERROR / ISSUE
-----------------------
APP-AR-96282: Error : The automatic generation of distributions for invoice <###> failed.
you must run the Revenue Recognition separately and verify the distributions for that invoice before you can credit it.
STEPS
-----------------------
1. Run create accounting for an invoice or attempt to apply a credit memo to an invoice with rules.
2 the error message is seen in the create accounting program.
3. Attempt to run the Revenue Recognition program.
4. The same error message is seen hence not able to process the invoice, credit the invoice, or close the period.
