BEE(Batch Element Entry) Fails with "Either the person does not exist or their period of service is not valid for the entire absence period." (Doc ID 2745915.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to validate or transfer BEE(Batch Element Entry) that contains an absence element for the terminated assignment, following error occurs.

Either the person does not exist or their period of service is not valid for the entire absence period.

Check that the person exists, that the actual and projected start dates are after the hire date and that the actual and projected end dates are before the termination date (if set).

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Example:

  1.  Terminate assignment with actual termination date = 15-Jan-2021.
  2.  Create a batch and batch line to create the absence entry in the period of 1-Jan-2021 to 31-Jan-2021.
  3.  BEE Validation fails with the error.
