R12 GL Approval Notification Error When Approving Batch: You Cannot Complete This Task - Your Login Session Has Expired (Doc ID 2750065.1)

Symptoms

User is reviewing the Approval Notification and clicks on "Enter Journals" Link.
User is reviewing the Journal and returns to the Approval Page and clicks "Approve".
Error message is displayed.
User has to logout and relogin to complete the Approval process.

ERROR
-----------------------

Error: Cannot Display Page:
You cannot complete this task because one of the following events caused a loss of page data:
 - Your login session has expired.
 - A System Failure has occurred.
To proceed, please select the Home link at the top of the application page to return to the main menu. Then access this page using the application navigation controls
(menu, links, and so on) instead of using the Browser's navigation controls like Back and Forward.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open Workflow Approval Notification;
2. Click on the "Enter Journals" Link;
3. Journal Entry Form is opened and approver is reviewing the Journal;
4. Return to the Approval Notification web page;
5. Click on Approve button;
6. Error is received.
