Last updated on NOVEMBER 17, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Project Costing - Version 12.2.6 and later
Oracle Project Planning and Control - Version 12.2.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using a Project Implementation responsibility > go to Budgets > select a Project and a Cost Budget > History > select the latest budget version > Tools > Budgetary Controls.

Control Level initial setup is:
- on project level = Advisory
- on top task level = Absolute

Change this on the working budget as follows:
- for one top task > set Control Level = Advisory

The expectation is that all related child-tasks would also become Advisory.
