How To Find the Journals Not Automatically Reversed due to Category Setup (Doc ID 276575.1)

Oracle General Ledger - Version 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 [Release 11.5.10 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Executable:GLPARV - Program - Automatic Reversal

Goal

Program - Automatic Reversal was not generating the reversal journals which had been defined on Setup > Journal > Autoreverse as being for autoreversal because when they were created/posted the Autoreverse setup was not correct.

You have corrected the setup but still the journals do not autoreverse.
The missing journals were created before you have defined/updated Autoreversal so that the Reversal Period was NULL in accrual_rev_period_name.
Or the 'Reverse period' from journal categories might be set as 'No default'.

This meant that they were not picked by the program as there is a line in the WHERE clause "and JEH.accrual_rev_period_name is not null".

You need to identify those journals created prior to the update of the Autoreverse entry and reverse them manually.
You will need to set a reversal period in the journal enter screen under more actions in order that they can be reversed.
