Symptoms

RUP 12.2.10 patch FAILED during EBS rup patch upgrade. adop phase=apply apply_mode=downtime patches='patch number' is when the patch failure occurred.

During an upgrade of E-Business suite (EBS upgrade) some scripts may fail with error:


ERROR
FAILED: file fnd_soa_log_service_details.xdf on worker 1.

OE_ORDERORG_GTT.sql
OE_CC_TEMP.sql
OE_SCHEDULE_LINES_TEMP.sql

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. adop phase=apply apply_mode=downtime patches='patch number' abandon=yes restart=no

adop phase=apply apply_mode=downtime patches='patch number' is when the patch failure occurred.
