Concerns About Non User Friendly Columns/Data Shown via WebADI With Advanced Pricing Integration (Doc ID 2771685.1)

Last updated on JULY 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Pricing - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.2.9 version, Price List

-
Customer has concerns about webadi with price lists and its usability.
They find that it might not be usable by their end-users because of limited columns/data shown.

Needs user-friendly columns loaded - especially when updating price list lines and qualifiers.
Users cannot use it as it creates too much work to have to decipher the "id" values into "real" values
(eg: they have to keep providing part number for the inventory_item_id, etc)

For example: show product_attr_value_disp not just product_attr_value
For example, show the item number, not just item id.
-- the end-user would know price for item but may not know item id.
Another example, show the customer name
Another example, show price list name
