Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, Time Entry

When organization is changed, after deleting and attempting to reenter the timecard from Timekeeper responsibility, the following error occurs.

Please validate if the Expenditure Organization is valid and is active for the transaction date and has been assigned the "Project Expenditure/Event Organization" classification.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps (shown with sample/ example):
1. Entered time for the month of Jan for weeks starting 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th in XX1 project/ organization for XX1 employee.
2. Approve and transfer the time in PA.
3. Login with XX1 Time keeper responsibility and deleted the time approved for weeks starting 18th & 25th Jan
4. Transfered the employee from XX1 to XX2 from HR Assignment form on 15th Jan
5. Ran User management program for the employee so that the employee’s Time entry access of XX1 is revoked and of XX2 is created.
6. Login with XX2 Time keeper responsibility and trying to enter the time for XX2 project getting error message.
