Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Year End Close
Period End Date

Symptoms

The Year End Closing Process is not picking up current expiring funds when running it for Preclose.

For example, when running for FY2020 year end, none of the funds that have an expiration date of 30-SEP-2020 are being processed.

This appears to be due to logic that treats the adjusting periods differently for pre-close.

Currently, periods are configured as follows:

- SEP-FY-xx - non-adjusting period; only normal transaction activity posts to this period
- PCLOSEYR-FY-xx - adjusting period; used for processing/posting year-end pre-closing entries
- CLOSEYR-FY-xx - adjusting period; used for processing/posting year-end closing entries
