Symptoms

Payrolling of Benefits in Kind Archive is firing the below error when a custom BIK (Benefits in Kind) element is used

The below error is seen in the Benefits in Kind Archive log file :

 has occurred in table pay_archive.process_employee at location 1108

Cause: an oracle error has occurred. The failure was reported on table pay_archive.process_employee at location 1108 with the error text ORA-20001: An error encountered was - ORA-20001:
ORA-06512: at "APPS.PAY_ARCHIVE", line 1234
ORA-06512: at line 3

Exception:100 - ORA-01403: no data found

STEPS

  1. Using UK HRMS Responsibility, create a BIK (benefits in kind) element and do the setup as per Payrolling of Benefits in Kind Technical Brief 14 ((Oracle Payroll UK Localization Payrolling of Benefits in Kind Changes April 2017 (Doc ID 2219594.1)
  2. Assign the element to one of the employees' element entries (People > Enter and Maintain > Assignment > Entries
  3. Run a quickpay in (People > Enter and Maintain > Assignment > Quickpay)
  4. Navigate to Process and Reports, Submit request
  5. Run Payrolling of Benefits in Kind Archive and notice the above error

Created custom Benefits in Kind element, new setup
