Goal

The goal of this document is to explain when to apply NLS patches when performing an upgrade from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.1.3 to the latest 12.2+ Release Update Pack (RUP). This document gives as example the Release Update Pack 12.2.9, but the explanation also applies to higher releases, so you will need to use the respective note for the RUP you are applying. In this example, we have two additional languages installed: Italian and Latin American Spanish.
