How to Define a Pricing Attribute and Use it to Reprice a Service Line (Doc ID 278955.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Service Contracts - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
OKSAUDET - Service Contracts Authoring

Goal

Scenario: Sell a license for a given number of software licenses. Create a line in the Sales Order for a service and price this as a percentage of the product price. At a later time, possibly when renewing the contract, reprice the Service Line, with the intent of changing the number of licenses that are covered for the Service Line.

This is an example that demonstrates how to define the Pricing Attribute, create and ship the Sales Order, and then change the Pricing Attribute value in the Install Base before repricing the contract Service Line.
