Goal

While trying to create Lookups, encountering the following form error:

APP-FND-00828 Please enter the required context filed value in the payment information flexfield . The context filed (also know as a structure filed) appears as one of the first segment in your flexfield.

How can the error message can be avoided/prevented?

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into a Projects Responsibility
  2. Navigate to Setup > Lookups
  3. Press F11 to Query the Lookup Type
  4. Enter the lookup type name
  5. Press Ctrl-F11 to Execute the Find
  6. Enter/Update a Code for the Lookup Type
  7. Save
  8. Error pops up in the application
