What Happened to Encumbered Requisiton Amount/Quantity when Autocreated Purchase Order is Altered and Encumbered for Less Than Requisition Amount/Quantity of the Backing Requisition (Doc ID 2804415.1)

Symptoms

Users have taken an encumbered Requisition, autocreated a Purchase Order from this requisition and then reduced the amount/quantity of the Purchase Order

What happens to the remaining original encumbered quantity/amount that was not utilized on the Purchase Order as this requisition is not available partially to use.




Steps to Reproduce the issue


 

  1. Users create Requisition encumbered for $100 
  2. Requisition is then autocreated into a PO where they amount is reduced to $75 and Encumbered
  3. The original Requisition reservation still has $25 remaining - what happens to this amount - where is it ?
