When Submitting For Approval Same Purchase Requisition Using Different Browsers, Some Errors Are Encountered:"Record Contains Stale Data" , "You have encountered an unexpected error" (Doc ID 2807189.1)

Symptoms

After the upgrade to release 12.2.10 , when users are submitting for approval same Requisition but using different browsers, it is found that following errors may occur :

 

Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause : The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action : Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data

Or 

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance.

 

After user is trying several times to re-login in order to approve , this error does not occur anymore, BUT, it is found that double workflow items are getting generated for the same requisition approval (generated twice) .

 

Steps to reproduce

-----------------------

1. Go to iProcurement responsibility. Create a new requisition.

2. Go to the check-out page for the requisition where you can submit the requisition. Now stop the actions.

3. Open other session (new session in current browser of other browser). Go to iProcurement responsibility.

4. Go to the shopping cart. Can be seen the requisition that was created in the first session. Go to the check-out page.

5. Now submit the requisition and directly after that submit also the requisition in the first session.

6. While doing the step <after that submit also the requisition in the first session> user gets errors
'Stale data'
or
'Unexpected error'
