IE - Unable To See Previous Taxable Pay And Previous Tax Paid For Rehired Employees (Doc ID 2821180.1)

Last updated on MARCH 14, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (Ireland) - Version 12.1.3 to 12.2 HRMS RUP14 [Release 12.1 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

In Tax Information Form>PAYE tab, for a terminated and rehired employee during same fiscal year, Previous Pay and Previous Tax (inherited from the P45 process) values are shown as 0, although the employee clearly has PAYE (Pay as You Earned) calculated and paid in the previous employment.

Since PAYE is a cumulative tax, Year to Date values need to be displayed in Tax Information form for Audit purposes.

PAYE calculation is considering the previous employment amounts, but Tax Information form is not displaying them.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. (N) IE HRMS Manager -> People -> Enter and Maintain -> Query employee
2. (B) Assignment -> Tax Information -> PAYE tab -> Previous Taxable Pay and Previous Tax paid are 0. (Pay To Date and Tax Deducted to Date)

Changes

Issue has not appeared after any patch, it has always been there.
