Symptoms

After submitting a Payment Process Request (PPR) via Payments -> Entry -> Payment Manager -> Submit a New Payment Process Request
the log file of the format program shows a Java exception:

ERROR

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
.... (lines removed for clarity)
Caused by: oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XPathException: Cannot convert to number.
at oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XSLStylesheet.flushErrors(XSLStylesheet.java:1534)
at oracle.xdo.parser.v2.XSLStylesheet.execute(XSLStylesheet.java:521)
