Last updated on JULY 15, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Work in Process - Version 12.2.10 to 12.2.11 [Release 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Before upgrading to 12.2, when a WIP job was pick released using the WIP Component Pick Release form and tasks were created, the same job could no longer be queried in the WIP Component Pick Release form.
After the 12.2 upgrade, the same job can be queried over and over again and picked release form causing duplicate tasks.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility = Work In Process.
2. Go to Discrete Jobs form.
3. Query job which is in Released status.
4. Go to Component Pick Release form.
5. Query job in Component Pick Release form.
6. Job is picked released.
7. Receive Note:
Move order number xxxxx created for the pick release Request number yyyyy submitted for printing pick slip.
8. Requery job and observe status is still released.
9. Checked in WMS Control Board that this job had already been released multiple times and now there are duplicate tasks.

NOTE: this issue occurs in non-WMS enabled environments as well. The job fully allocated and/or transacted, can still be queried in WIP Component Pick Release form.

Changes

 Upgraded from 12.1.3 to 12.2.11.
