Error APP-PER-07915 Is Received When Attempting to Terminate an Employee (Doc ID 284049.1)

Symptoms

Get the following error message when trying to terminate an employee:

APP-PER-07915: The assignment status can only be updated if your effective date is after the assignment start date.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility.
  2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain.
  3. Search for the affected employee.
  4. Click on Others > End Employment.
  5. Try to terminate the employee.
  6. Get error.
