Purpose

The purpose of this document is to supplement Oracle Service Contract's existing documentation on available public API which are described in the following document:

Oracle Service Contracts API Reference Guide
Release 11i
Part No. B12095-01.

Scope

This technical document describes the functional abilities of each API and lists in detail the parameters and the usage. Additionally, if a parameter is composed of a record structure, this document explains what data types constitute the record structure.

Note: Please also refer to Doc Id 307446.1: Documentation on Supported OKC Contracts Core, OKS Service Contracts API's Release 11i and 12 for an explanation of what API are available for customer use.

 

Note: Beginning in 12.2.4 there are additional supported API for Service Contracts, including API to create and update Service Contracts. See Note 1941609.1 "Service Contracts API Bulletin - Technical Documentation on Supported Public APIs to Create and Update Service Contracts".
