Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When creating a location through integration without explicitly defining a location GID, the default BN Rule for location LOCATION_XID_WITH_CORP.DEFAULT is not used and results in attempting to create a location with a null GID and the below error. It is worth noting that the transaction code used to create the location is II (insert or ignore).

ERROR
---------------

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is expected to be able to create the location using the BN rule for the location ID through integration.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Using a transaction code of II for the location, upload a XML to OTM that will create a new location. Ensure that there is no LocationGid element in the XML so that the BN Rule in OTM can be used
2. The transmission will fail with the above exception
