Publisher Bursting Jobs Take Longer Time To Run In (OAS) Oracle Analytical Server 5.9 (Doc ID 2862817.1)

In OAS 5.9 , bursting jobs run way longer than OBIEE 12.2.1.4 on average for 80 min in OAS whereas it runs in 20 min or less in OBIEE.

Generating excel report and using excel template as observed in below diagnostic log file

On 12.2.1.4 each report generation per sub job was taking ~500 ms but onOAS 5.9 it is taking ~2.5 to 3 min

Steps:

a) Login to OBIEE 12.2.1.4 and schedule bursting of reports

b) It takes close to 20 minutes

c) Login to OAS 5.9 environment and bursting of reports take longer time close to 80 minutes

Upgrade from OBIEE 12.2.1.4 to OAS 5.9
