Warehouse Not Defaulting Correctly When Performing Copy Sales Order / Quote Across Operating Units (Doc ID 2863135.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.9 version, Transaction Entry

Actual Behavior

Wrong Warehouse on Copied Quote / Order

While doing copy order / quote across operating units ( OUs), warehouse against the order and line copied from the source order

Expected Behavior

Warehouse on copied Order / Quote,  Header and lines should belongs to organizations of the destination OU, but NOT the source OU.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a sales order#123 in OU : abc , Order type: Mixed, warehouse: M1
  2. Copy Sales Order ( Actions > Copy)
  3. on the copy order screen, change OU to new value: xyz and Order type: xx-Mixed ( belongs to new OU)
  4. observe that warehouse: M1 still retained on the copied order#124 and its lines
  5. When manually created Order in OU: xyz: Order type: xx-Mixed, warehouse defaulted is E1 on both header and line
