Error Uncaught DOMException: Blocked A Frame From Accessing A Cross-Origin Frame When Clicking An Option Within A BOM Structure In Configurator UI (Doc ID 2864271.1)

Symptoms

Customer has a custom user interface from which Configurator is invoked. This opens the Configurator and displays the BOM Structure.  
When they expand the Sub Assembly and Select an option , the Pop-up does not appear and the following error is raised:

STEPS
_________

1) Invoke Configurator
2) Click on option from a displayed BOM structure.
3) Error is raised.
