ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Account Alias screen has invalid account number in account segment combination but I can do account alias transaction in inventory.
But when I try to use account Alias in custom program then getting error message.
I understand that we have to update account alias account to make custom program to work but I am curious to know why applications do not throw an error message and why it letting transactions to go through without any error.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Disable a segment for a GL account
2. Perform account alias transaction via form and via interface
3. Works in form and fails in interface (it should also fail in the form)
