Error Occurs When Attempting to Create a Salary Proposal for Future Dated Assignment (Doc ID 2873942.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to create a new salary for the future dated secondary assignment, following error occurs.

There is no assignment for the given date.

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager responsibility

  2. Go to the Salary page
    (N) People > Enter and Maintain > (B) Assignment > Query the secondary assignment that starts in the future date (e.g. 1-Jan-2023) > (B) Salary
     
  3. Click on "Add New Salary" button.

  4. Enter the sysdate (e.g. 1-Jan-2022) in the "From" field.

  5. Employee details are removed and error is displayed.
