Unable To View 'My Worklist' Content On EBS Home Page In Edge & Chrome Browsers

Symptoms
User is unable to view the content of My Worklist on EBS Homepage in Edge and Chrome browsers.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to the EBS application
2. Click on the My Worklist(Bell) Icon on the Homepage.
3. Blank page is opened and no notifications are seen.
Below error is reported in console:
On Edge: More tools-> Developer tools
FNDWFWorklistService.js:422
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getElementsByTagName')
at XMLHttpRequest.WFParseXML (FNDWFWorklistService.js:422)
