Reversal Withholding Tax Line is Generated On Standard Invoice When a Prepayment is Applied
Steps to Reproduce:
- Goto Payables responsibility-->Invoice workbench.
- Create a Invoice.
- Apply Prepayment
Example:
Prepayment invoice 'Pre1' created for amount=100 with WHT 20%
Item line = 100
Prepayment AWT line = -20
Standard invoice 'Inv1' created for amount 600 with WHT 20%
Item line = 600
Prepayment applied = -100
Remaining amount = 500
While doing payment, WHT line created for amount -100(20%) created and one more WHT line for amount 20 created. (Prepayment WHT line reversed here).
So final amount paid = 500 - 100(WHT amount for this standard invoice)+20(prepayment WHT line reversed here)=420
So amount of 420 paid to supplier instead of 400.
